Presently there has been some work goin on in my house, renovation, painting et al. Our house was built in 1970 and has not undergone any major renovation. So you may imagine the state of dilapidation in which some objects were to be found! So the great decision was taken in March and work began as soon as i arrived for my vactions.
It hasn't been easy as i initially thought. One feels extremely helpless when all the things once properly arranged in the house lie hither and thither. I am reminded of my hostel room and the terrible mess which is as intrinsic part of hostel life as havin lunch in the mess! I am unable to find a single thing on time, its reason (once in a blue moon) not being my carelessness! I feel as if things will never be normal again!(i agree this sounds like a typical 'break up' conversation!But its true!!) Sure the thing gives you quite a few interesting experiences...like havin lunch sittin on a table in the hall in front of a TV placed on a study table!
All in all, the first few days haven't been exactly as planned, but there's a new house to be lived in for the rest of the days. Doesn't look that bad eh?
