I was enjoyin' the b'day party of a friend when i heard the news that a fellow student of my junior college had expired! At such times, things just seem to come at a dead stop. Whatever joy or jubilation you were feeling, slips away like sand from your hand! It happened in a freak accident on a highway. Although i wasn't on talkin' terms with her because frankly, we never had any contact academically, i.e. same tutions etc. But those who were, like some of my friends were strongly distressed as they knew her to be an honest, hardworking and a down-to-earth individual.
Why does this happen? If there's a God in this world, how can he allow this to happen? A sudden stop to millions of dreams, expectations and relations...And then what's wrong when people say that God doesn't exist, that she is the last person on earth to deserve such a fate? Or does He befriend Satan himself at these times?
Though i didn't know her as such, i want to pay homage to her departed soul. I believe, i don't think anyone would argue, that she is at peace for the eternity! Words fail, and the only reaction is given by the steadily flowing tears, witnesses to an unfinished story....

at times like these .. one explaination tht my aunt recently gave me . .holds true i think. everyone of us have a destiny to follow. a certain amount o happiness to give n to get ..n a certain amount o pain to recieve n cause. the one who has gotten his/her share o happiness n sadness has no purpose to serve n since tht he/she ceases to exist as their purpose is fullfilled. when things like this happen .. we can believe in only one saying : everything is written before we come n it will happen no matter what we do. Destiny is a fact.
